OTO is now on the hunt for an experienced and energetic Product Designer. You will bring your expertise and enthusiasm into the team, and drive OTO growth into the MENA Market. We are looking for someone who is highly enthusiastic, energetic, and results-driven.

Tasks:

You will be responsible for:

• Perform design, development and support of OTO’s existing and new products;
• Identify and suggest opportunities for new products;
• Understand product vision and business needs to define product requirements and Product Designerural solutions;
• Analyze how a new product ties in with market needs and clients' preferences;
• Develop architectural and design principles to improve the performance, capacity, and scalability of OTO’s product;
• Work alongside OTO’s Head of Product and Sr. Product Manager to plan and execute of new product releases;
• Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams, and external partners;
• Research materials and techniques to improve and optimize OTO’s product;
• Sketch drafts documents of the product using CAD;
• Design database structure for new products;
• Define UI requirements and functional requirements of OTO’s product;
• Research competitive products and define gaps to improve OTO’s products;
• Research best practices for certain features and develop the best design fitting to the existing product positioning;
• Adjust OTO’s products design according to feedback from related departments;
• Improve the design of OTO’s existing products features;
• Document and improve the product functions and data flow;
• Gather feedback from product users;
• Construct software QA test related to product's designs to identify issues with the QA team;
• Conduct products demo sessions for OTO’s clients;
• Any other duties as required by management.

Job requirements

For this role, it is essential that you have:

Work experience as an Associate Product Manager or similar role
Experience in product development and bug-fixing processes
Familiar with documenting functional specifications for software projects
Ability to coordinate & communicate with both users and developers

Ability to use problem-solving skills & system thinking approach when sources are limited

BSc/MSc in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering or a relevant field

It will be considered a big plus if you:

Have international experience.

Have previously worked in fast-growing SaaS start-ups.
